About the Bond
Proposition A asks Cleburne voters to approve $62,500,000 in bonds for a new Public Safety Facility. The building would bring the Police Department, Fire Administration, and Municipal Court together in one location built for how they work today, with room to grow. It would also house the Emergency Operations Center and training space. The current Police Headquarters started as a municipal building in the 1960s, when Cleburne had about 15,700 residents. Cleburne now has nearly 39,000 residents and 56 sworn officers.
